The inspiration for my painting "Splash" came from a photo my mom captured of me in the sea during sunset. It was taken on the evening I first joined the "Cold Water Exposure Ayrshire" wild swimming community. The waves crashing around us made it a memorable and enjoyable night, meeting new people. Looking back at this image evokes a sense of nostalgia, as it reminds me of the time when I didn't even know the names of those who are now like close friends to me.
